Smudge is a small slim brown cat with longish smooth fur. He isn’t heavy and is very affectionate. He usually went out for a wander along the lane near our house and in other gardens close by or was in the house getting cuddles. He had a collar on with a cat head shaped tag with his name on it but that may have come off. His cat brothers always found him i he wasn’t home as although they aren’t related they all look out for each other l. We are worried he is maybe shut in somewhere or has wandered and can’t find his way home. We have put up posters and put leaflets round the area and handed one in to the local postal delivery office as they see cats on their travels so thought that might help too. We have searched under hedges and bushes and up trees and in most of the areas around but he could be in an outbuilding or somewhere else. He is our younger son’s wee cat that he got instead of a dog as we can’t have a dog and he is much loved and hugely missed by him and his big brother and by us all.
His tail is sort of greasy on top near his body as if he got oil on it and we couldn’t get it to come off, he has a funny purr like a throaty nasal sound, he has a little mark in his fur above his right eye.
