He went outside after eating, and hasn't returned. This is out of character, he never wanders very far, and doesn't stay outside for more than half a day.
He is a very big cat, long haired and fluffy. His fur is black, with white markings on his face (nose and mouth), white toes, and he has very long white whiskers. His face is quite striking; he has a rather bold, arrogant look, and a white "mane" around the front of his neck. He doesn't like being picked up. Although he is mainly black, in the sunlight the fur on his back appears to have a brownish tint.
