Cola is very friendly with us but can be timid with anyone she doesn’t know and she may try to run away or hiss if she’s hurt or scared. Cola is very much a homebody these days and is rarely gone longer than 20 mins at most so we know her ‘patch’ is very local to us. We are worried she was chased or frightened by something and thus has gone outside her usual area, possibly lost or injured. She went out as usual for her 10 to 15 mins evening walk on Saturday 31 December, it is very quiet in our area and she was in good health and behaving normally, following her usual routine – but she did not return home as expected. We’re desperately sad without her as she’s a big part of our small family and loved very much by us all. Any news, good or bad, will be a great help to us.
Our beloved Cola is 15 years old, medium build and in good health. She is ALL BLACK except for a very small white patch on her tum and some grey/white ‘salt & pepper’ in her fur, especially down her back legs, due to her age. She has YELLOW/GREEN eyes and her coat is ‘short-hair’ type. She is not overweight but her tummy is a little saggy underneath.
