This lost Lop Eared Rabbit was last seen around Etchingham East Sussex TN19
Reward Available for Safe Return
Our beloved four-year-old rabbit Groot has been missing since approximately 6pm on Monday 12th October 2026, from our garden on Etchingham High Street, East Sussex (TN19 7AP).
Groot is a large, white, neutered male lop-eared rabbit with pale grey/beige markings. He is very tame, accustomed to people and normally comes when called.
We believe he may have escaped through a small gap in the fencing into a neighbouring field, although this has not been confirmed.
We've extensively searched our garden, neighbouring gardens and surrounding fields, but have found no trace of him.
Groot loves squeezing into small spaces, particularly under sheds, behind wood piles, along fences and beneath dense vegetation. If frightened or somewhere unfamiliar, he may remain completely silent and hidden rather than respond to his name.
Please check gardens, sheds, garages, under decking, behind stored items and any small sheltered spaces.
If you see him, please contact us immediately, even if you're unable to catch him.
Contact Clara / Adam: 07808 471411.
We are absolutely desperate to bring him home safely. Any information would mean the world to us.
Groot is a large, fluffy, white neutered male lop-eared rabbit, with pale grey/beige markings around his ears, nose and face. Very friendly with people, but if frightened he squeezes into tiny sheltered spaces and stays completely still, even when called.
