Our 21 month old Saluki, Eugene, escaped from our dog sitter's garden around 8pm last night, Friday 21 February (Excalibur Estate area in Catford). He was last spotted running down Castillon Road towards Crutchley Road. We have been out searching the area last night and for the past few hours to no avail.
He is a very nervous rescue and is likely hiding somewhere sheltered. He is wearing a collar with a tag that has my details on it and is microchipped and neutered. We live on Minard Road, Catford.
We have notified our vet practice; our insurer; his microchip provider; Battersea; the police; National Rail; Celia Hammond; Dog Lost; Pets Reunited, etc.
I have posted on Nextdoor and Reddit as well, and my sister has shared information on Facebook in local groups etc.
He has brown eyes, black fur, long haired ears and tail, with a white patch on his chest and a white front right paw.
Mostly black with white chest and white front right paw. Long haired ears and tail. Brown eyes. Very nervous dog.
