This dog was spotted alone on Sedgley Beacon late yesterday afternoon. It reminded me of a Border Collie (size/shape) except that it was white with brown patches. It was wearing a collar and silver medalion but I couldn't get near enough to be able to read it. Each time I got close to the dog it cowered then ran away. It seemed to be doing great circuits of the beacon and it was very wet and muddy. I tried for 2 hours to catch the dog but eventually had to give up trying as it went very dark and I couldn't see.
