Found Cat Moggy from Ripley Derbyshire DE5

This found Moggy Cat was found around Ripley Derbyshire DE5

Was driving along the A38 North bound between Ripley and the junction to Alfreton. The cat was on the side of the road, close to the verge on the outside lane. There didn't appear to be any injuries, but there was blood on the road, so the cat must have been trying to cross but was hit by a car. Unfortunately, the cat was deceased, as it was laying on it's side and not moving.
Called the RSPCA to report the cat and was advised to post a message on line and to report the cat to the local council to collect and scan for a micro-chip on Monday.

The cat appeared to be all black and was wearing a red collar, either made from fabric or leather.
