This entirely black female cat (18-24 months approx) first appeared at my french door one week ago ,clearly looking for food, which I've been providing. It is in good condition and seems used to people, although it's wary. It appears morning and tea time now, every day. It will only come inside if the door is left open and will stay for ten minutes or so before leaving. I suspect it is sleeping in the adjacent farm barn, amongst the hay bales. Nobody knows anything about it. It could have been dumped post Christmas, especially being black. I haven't built enough trust with it to be able to take to a vet for a microchip scan.

Totally black, green eyes, short legs, loud miaow.
